M.E. 4Bar MAP Sensor Kit for 991.2 Carrera/Turbo/GT2RS

The M-Engineering 4Bar MAP Sensor Kit is required for running large turbocharger upgrades (such as the Pure800s, 850s, PTME1000) that produce more boost than the factory turbos.  

Why? 

The factory MAP sensors can only reach a certain ceiling of boost pressure reading. When upgrading turbochargers on the 991.2, the requested boost is above that ceiling and an upgraded MAP sensor is required to be able to continue reading boost and allow for optimal tuning. The M.E. 4Bar Map Sensor Kit contains two sensors to complete the kit. Other tuners traditionally will add fueling corrections when the boost pressure goes beyond this ceiling and merely guess at the actual boost pressure and let the turbo pressure control in open loop. Manifold pressure is the most vital part in the ECU's fuel mass calculation and ensures you have proper injector pulse width calculations for your target lambda. This takes all of the guess work out of this so you can safely enjoy higher power levels. 

This kit contains 2x sensors that are direct replacements for the OEM sensors. One is located pre-throttle and the other on the right-side intake manifold. 

ProTuning with M-Tuner is required to purchase this part. It is not compatible with other ECU tuning solutions and M-Engineering will not provide support or scaling data for other flashes.
